Our Standards

Worth The Jar publishes independent reviews with one purpose: helping readers decide whether something is worth buying. Editorial decisions are made on testing results and nothing else.

Independence

Accuracy

Every factual claim traces to either our own documented testing or a cited source. Where we reference research we link to the study itself, not a secondary write-up. We distinguish clearly between what we measured, what we observed subjectively, and what the existing evidence suggests.

Affiliate Links & Revenue

Some articles contain affiliate links, which earn us a commission on purchases. This funds the testing. It does not shape the conclusions:

Full detail is in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections

When we publish something inaccurate we fix it promptly and note the correction within the article, along with the date. We do not quietly edit and move on.

If you believe something we have published is wrong, tell us and we will investigate. Include a source if you have one — it speeds things up considerably.

Sponsored Content

We do not publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles, or advertorial supplied by brands. If that ever changes it will be labelled unmistakably at the top of the page, and it will not sit inside our review coverage.

Use of AI

Research, testing, photography, and editorial judgment are done by people. We may use AI tools to assist with drafting, editing, or formatting, but every published piece is reviewed and approved by a human editor who is accountable for its accuracy.
